Religious School

Sunday, May 14, 10:00 a.m.

Last day of school for the season, featuring:

  • Garden planting and grounds clean-up
  • Year-end assembly and honoring teachers
  • Observance of L’ag B’omer, the “students’ holiday” including outdoor games
  • Picnic lunch

All parents and siblings are invited to join us for the day — details in the Hadashot​.

Lunch Assembly

The next and last lunch assembly for this year. We will need:

  • Lots of granola bars
  • Bottles of water
  • We can always use PB and jelly.

Visioning Meeting

S​unday, May 21, 12:30 p.m.

Please join us for a visioning meeting to discuss the future of our community and how it relates to the budget and the building. We need all of your ideas and suggestions!

Birthday and Anniversary Blessings

We want to celebrate you! On Friday, June 23rd, we will turn our Sun Wheel in honor of the summer solstice. During this service, those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries June through September will be invited to come up to the bimah for a joyous blessing. Birthday and anniversary blessings will be offered four times a year as we turn our Sun Wheel to welcome each season. Please write to Robin Frisch with your birthday and anniversary dates so we can extend a personal invitation when it is time for you to receive your special blessings.

Lowell Spinners Game

There are boxes in the lobby waiting to be filled with your generous donations.  All donations go to local charities. Thank you!

TEMV Yoga

Gentle yoga: Monday, 8:30am;  RSVP required by Sunday at 12 noon. On holidays this class meets at 9 am.

Attendance at this class has been low recently. If you wish to attend yoga on Monday morning, please contact Cornelia at yogainfo@temv.org preferably by Sunday afternoon. If at least three people say they are coming she will let you know. Please leave your phone number—preferably a cell phone number—in your email.

Yoga: Wednesday, 6:30pm

Please bring a mat. $7 for the teacher and a $3 donation to the temple.
