We hope to see you at our lay-led services this week! Please also note that our Fall Open House and the start of our Religious School year will be September 10. Tell all your friends!
Lay-led Shabbat Services This Week
Friday, August 11, 7:30 p.m. — note this is a time change
Lay leader: Alan Wolfe
Potluck oneg — please bring something to share.
We will recall those whose yahrzeiten fall at this time of year:
Rabbi Sparr Office Hours
Rabbi Sparr is available for office hours Thursday, August 10, by appointment. She can generally be reached by phone, and welcomes your call during regular business hours. If you have an urgent need, please don’t hesitate to ring her anytime. She may also be reached by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thursday, August 10, 7:00 p.m.
All are welcome!
Several people have expressed an interest in a summer Lunch Bunch. Here are our two options:
Wednesday, August 23, noon
400 Littleton Rd (Rt. 110)
We have been here before–it’s sort of a TEMV tradition. You can buy food or just hang out under the tent. Lots of activities and of course, ice cream.
Tuesday, August 15, noon
Outdoor seating option and free outdoor activities such as bocce, bean bag toss, and giant Jenga.
Both places are kid friendly. If interested in either or both, email email@example.com with your preference(s).
We are raising funds for TEMV as part of the Macy’s Shop for a Cause Charity Challenge! There are only two days left to donate to TEMV and receive a special discount savings pass to shop at Macy’s! We are currently at $345. Our goal is $500. Please help to make that happen! We all benefit from a strong, vibrant, TEMV community! Thank you in advance for helping us to reach our goal!
TEMV has a critical need to raise funds to stay vibrant and growing! Please donate to TEMV through this link to have your contribution count.
The Shop for a Cause campaign will run through Wednesday, August 9th.
TEMV Virtual Walk 3.0
The TEMV Summer Walk has started, but it’s not to late to get into the game. Need some motivation to do your walking or biking, or just want to have some fun? Come join us. We have several people fast approaching, if not already in, Maine. Anyone can join at anytime—contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lay Leaders Needed
We are looking for lay leaders for August 11 and 25. Please contact Karen if interested.
Yard Sale Gala
The yard sale gala is over, and most things that did not sell went to Savers Thrift Stores, through their fund-raising program for non-profit organizations. TEMV will make some money based on the weight of the items delivered to them.
TEMV is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Just start your Amazon shopping through this link to take part.
