School is in session this Sunday, March 24 – don’t forget your tzedaka money and snack!
Purim Celebration!
Come to school in your favorite costume! We will have a Purim activity, hear the Book of Esther (the Megillah), sing songs, and also have a bit of classroom time. It’s also customary to give gifts of food to friends (if you’re so inclined), and also to give gifts of food to the needy – any non-perishable foods for donation would be most welcome, and monies collected this week will be specially earmarked for Mazon, a Jewish hunger relief organization.
Support Parent this week is Sue, who will be on site before 9:45 to let folks in, answer the phone, and support students, staff and parents throughout the school day and until the last student is picked up.
The schedule this week:
- 9:45 Arrival and settling in
- 10:00 Block One: students with their primary teacher
- 10:45 Megillah, costume parade, and music
- 11:20 Hamentashen making for all
- 11:50 Clean-up/wrap-up
- 12:00 dismissal
Upcoming: Please see the full Religious School Calendar.
