School is in session this week—don’t forget your tzedaka money—kids will select their tzedaka recipient during this day.

Colored Pencils

Our parent helper this week is Eliot.

Last Day of School for this year!

Please wear casual clothes – we will be spending a significant part of our day outside (or in the sanctuary if it’s a washout) potentially getting dirty 🙂

Calling all talented students (which is ALL of them, of course!)

Any student or aide who would like to share a talent is welcome to do so – play a piece of music, sing a song, display artwork, tell a joke or short story, or otherwise demonstrate their passion and skill.

We need your contributions for our luncheon and games

Please respond to the Sign-up Genius to let us know what you plan to bring!

We also need some materials for our games on Sunday: please shoot me a note (temvrabbi@gmail.com) if you are able to provide/loan any of the following:

  • 2 baseball bats (plastic ones are great)
  • sleeve of saltine crackers
  • 2 3-foot lengths of rope (for 3-legged race) balloons (not helium)

This Sunday’s Schedule

(subject to adjustment based on weather)

  • 10:00 All students to classrooms for end-of-year wrap up and tzedaka decisions
  • 10:30 Assembly – music, teacher and parent appreciations, talent show, registration for next year
  • 10:50 Celebration of L’ag B’omer, including relay races (outdoors, or in the sanctuary)
  • 11:30 luncheon

But wait! There’s more!

Although school is concluding, there are still programs designed for families in the weeks ahead, including services:

  • May 31 Pride Shabbat
    • 5:30p Tot Shabbat;
    • 6:00p pre-neg;
    • 6:30p Erev Shabbat
  • June 21 6:15p Erev Shabbat: Family service followed by potluck dinner & oneg

And for the younger set, TEMV Tot Tales:

  • June 2, 16, and 23, 10:30 am – 11:30 a.m. – A joyous hour of music and movement followed by a story and craft for children under 5 years old and their caregivers. Facilitated by TEMV President Robin Frisch, M.S., Child Development

Remember to review the Weekly Happenings for more details. Have a WONDERFUL SUMMER and keep in touch!

B’ahava – with love,
Rabbi Robin Sparr
