The TEMV Religious School is no longer in operation as of June 2023.  We are keeping this page around for historical purposes.

TEMV’s Religious School is committed to ensuring that our children gain a strong religious foundation and Jewish identity in a weekly Sunday program. This is achieved through curricular innovations, close supervision, multi-sensory and joyous learning, and attending Shabbat family dinners and services.

Our teachers are highly qualified and caring instructors, many of whom are deeply involved members of TEMV. These teachers/members offer role-modeling and contribute to a sense of community in which each child is truly known throughout the congregation.

Social Awareness

Social awareness and Tzedakah (justice) projects are an important part of our school year. Our students engage in raising funds for various causes, make and pack lunches for a homeless shelter in the city, help at a soup kitchen, participate in walk-a-thons, and plant trees. In these ways, Jewish values and ethics are made real by the students themselves, and responsibility toward Temple, community, and the world is deeply internalized.
